Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and ensure compliance with all specifications.
• Analyze project costs and budget forecasts, providing value engineering options where applicable.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on estimating progress and timelines.
• Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing for future bidding processes.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating processes.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at our head office in South Surrey BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with at least ten (10) years of experience in estimating. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and competitive bids for various construction projects. The Estimator will analyze project plans, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare detailed cost estimates, collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset, but not required.
