Job summary

MFSG is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst to join our Risk Management team. Reporting to the Manager, ERM, you will help develop and maintain the company’s ERM framework, identify and monitor risks, and support reporting to leadership and the Board.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–5 years in ERM or related risk functions, and strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/PowerPoint abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field.
• 3–5 years in ERM, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a related risk function.
• Understanding of ERM frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Experience preparing risk reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; data visualization is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional certifications such as CRMA, CRM, FRM, PRM, CIA, or progress toward designation are assets.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management program.
• Assist in the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of enterprise‑wide risks.
• Maintain and update risk registers, risk assessments, controls documentation, and risk reporting dashboards.
• Analyze risk trends, KRIs, and emerging risks to provide actionable insights to management.
• Coordinate periodic risk assessments and facilitate risk workshops with stakeholders across the business.
• Support the development of risk reporting materials for senior leadership and the Board.
• Collaborate with first‑line and second‑line functions to ensure consistent risk practices.
• Assist in monitoring mitigation plans and remediation activities.
• Support business continuity and scenario analysis initiatives.
• Contribute to policy, framework, standards, and procedures improvements.
• Assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance‑related risk activities.
