Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead environmental site investigation and remediation projects across Atlantic Canada, leveraging regional knowledge and strong client relationships. You will guide project execution, manage scope and budgets, and mentor the team, collaborating with local offices and national specialists to deliver defensible, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in environmental consulting, industry, or government/regulatory roles, with a focus on managing and coordinating projects and teams.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
P. Eng. is a benefit (and/or eligibility for professional registration, depending on discipline).
PMP designation is an asset but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee project delivery across Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, and related field programs.
Provide technical direction to field teams and subcontractors, including safe work planning.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables for multiple projects concurrently; communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to safety culture and technical excellence.
Support proposal development and business development activities.
