Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Environmental Professional to lead site investigation, remediation, and risk assessment projects in British Columbia. The role focuses on delivering Phase I–III ESAs, PSIs, and DSIs, while guiding junior staff and shaping group direction.

You will promote safety, manage client relations across sectors, and collaborate with disciplines across Stantec offices to drive technical excellence and business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of directly applicable environmental experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct project management experience.
• Experience with Phase I, II, III ESAs, Stage 1 PSI and Stage 2 PSI/DSIs, remediation reports.
• Knowledge of BC Contaminated Site Regulations and CCME framework.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Possession of a valid BC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong health and safety culture within the team.
• Support clients across government, energy, transportation, natural resources, etc.
• Manage Phase I–III ESAs and PSI/DSI projects and regulatory instruments.
• Lead proposals, scopes, budgets, and subcontractor retention.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee project scope, staffing, budgeting, scheduling.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Participate in marketing and business development meetings.
• Collaborate across disciplines with other Stantec offices.
• Help shape the practice direction with leadership.
