Job summary

Det’on Cho Environmental, part of Det’on Cho Management LP, seeks a Senior Environmental Manager to guide environmental services and operations in partnership with Indigenous communities. You will lead projects, manage teams, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality delivery across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of leadership in environmental sectors, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record in business development and Indigenous collaboration.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive leadership experience in environmental services or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Experience working with Indigenous governments or organizations is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of environmental projects and programs.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, contractors, and resources for project delivery.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and environmental practices relevant to operations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to teams.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, and training.
