Job description

Denison is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to support environmental monitoring, data management, and field program activities across exploration and development projects. Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, this role works closely with technical teams to help implement environmental programs, maintain accurate records, and support day-to-day environmental initiatives. This position will be based in the Saskatoon office and will require occasional travel to Northern Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities
  • Support environmental field programs, including sampling, monitoring, and site inspections
  • Collect, organize, and maintain environmental data and records
  • Assist with environmental reporting and documentation
  • Support the implementation of environmental plans and monitoring programs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support project activities and environmental initiatives
  • Participate in site visits and field work as requiredEnsure work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements

You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and interested in gaining hands‑on experience in environmental fieldwork and project support. You are comfortable working both in the field and in an office setting, and you take a practical, organized approach to your work. In addition, you have:

  • A degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, or a related field
  • 1-3+ years of experience in environmental fieldwork, monitoring, or project support
  • Experience with environmental sampling, data collection, or field programs is an asset
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • A commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to site
