Job summary

TBT Engineering Limited is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead and contribute to diverse projects across environmental site assessment, remediation, monitoring, and regulatory compliance.

You will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight, guiding junior staff and ensuring projects meet professional and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Geological Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in environmental assessment, remediation, or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects including ESAs, remediation design, and monitoring programs.
• Oversee field investigations and sampling for soil, groundwater, surface water, and aggregates.
• Prepare and review technical reports, data summaries, proposals, and regulatory submissions.
• Lead environmental compliance and permitting with municipal, provincial, and federal agencies.
• Provide mentorship to junior and intermediate team members.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders for project success.
• Support business development through proposals and client relationship management.
• Ensure adherence to environmental standards, regulations, and quality systems.
