Job summary

EXP in Markham, Ontario seeks an Environmental Engineer/Geoscientist and Qualified Person with 8–10 years in environmental consulting, ESAs and excess soils. The role requires a P.Eng. or P.Geo in Ontario and QPESA designation to lead ESAs, regulatory reporting and client-focused projects.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, prepare technical reports, and coordinate field activities with internal teams and clients, driving compliant solutions in a dynamic, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in environmental consulting focused on ESAs and excess soils.
• P.Eng. or P.Geo license in Ontario; QPESA designation.
• Degree in Environmental/Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology or Geology.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario Reg. 153/04 and Reg. 406/16.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and oversee Phase One and Two ESAs, remediation and RSC work.
• Provide QPESA services per Ontario Reg. 406/19.
• Review earthwork fill and prepare scope of works.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, reports, and cost control.
• Maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide technical reviews of environmental reports.
• Oversee project management and deliverables.
