Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Natural Resource Management team. Qualifications

• University degree in environmental, physical science, or engineering related discipline; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Professional designation such as PBiol/RPBiol/PAg welcomed.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting or related field with emphasis on environmental assessment and permitting.
• Experience in business development and client growth across sectors (oil/gas, mining, infrastructure, transportation, renewable energy, water management).
• Strong communication and report writing skills are essential.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to collaborate with biologists, ecologists, planners, engineers, and environmental scientists.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships through identifying market opportunities, client communications, proposals, and business development.
• Identify and pursue opportunities within the marketplace and secure work assignments.
• Contribute to proposals (budget development and proposal writing).
• Coordinate with staff across Canada for project delivery, client relationships, and research.
