Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Senior Environment Advisor to lead air quality and emissions initiatives across Canada, including Calgary and Edmonton. You will provide technical leadership, regulatory interpretation, and guidance to operations and projects.

You will compile, verify, and report greenhouse gas and air emissions data for regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting, maintain inventories, and support air permitting with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience in air emissions management or environmental compliance.
• Knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial air emissions and greenhouse gas regulations and reporting.
• Technical expertise in greenhouse gas quantification, emissions inventory development, and emissions reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop collaborative working relationships across locations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior air quality and emissions subject matter expert, providing leadership and regulatory guidance to operations, projects, and partners.
• Lead compilation, quantification, verification, and reporting of greenhouse gas and air emissions data for regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting.
• Ensure timely submission of federal and provincial air emissions reports and other regulatory deliverables.
• Maintain and enhance greenhouse gas and air emissions inventories with regulatory and operational changes.
• Identify and mitigate air compliance risks and business impacts from regulatory requirements.
• Analyze emerging and proposed air regulations and support regulatory positions and implementation plans.
• Support air permitting for assigned projects.
