Job summary

Appnovation is seeking a strategic and technically fluent Project Manager to lead complex Web and CMS digital transformation initiatives. You will oversee the full project lifecycle — from discovery and solution design to development, launch, and post-launch optimization.

You will manage cross-functional teams including strategists, UX designers, architects, developers, and QA specialists while serving as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Project Management experience in a digital agency or consulting environment.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise Web and CMS implementations (e.g., Drupal, AEM, Sitecore, headless CMS).
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture and multi-platform integrations.
• Experience managing large client-facing teams and complex project logistics.
• Demonstrated financial management experience including revenue forecasting and margin tracking.
• Expertise in Agile and hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder written and verbal communication skills across business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale Web and CMS projects (replatforming, multi-site, headless implementations).
• Manage project scope, budgets (£1M+), schedules, and profitability.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reporting.
• Oversee resource planning, forecasting, and estimate-to-completion tracking.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to integrations, content migration, and technical architecture.
• Participate in pre-sales activities including RFP responses, scoping, and SOW development.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Drive continuous improvement of project governance and delivery processes.
