Job summary

Appnovation Technologies seeks a Technical Lead to own and advance a modern .NET SaaS platform for K-12 education. You will be the senior C# authority within a cross-functional team, driving design decisions, performance, and reliability.

You will mentor engineers, manage sprint delivery, and partner with client stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals. This role is based in British Columbia, Canada, with a focus on high-impact, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, majority in C# and .NET in production environments.
• Depth in .NET Core and ASP.NET Core with end-to-end ownership of services.
• Expert EF Core, migrations, performance tuning, and when to use raw SQL.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous and concurrent programming in .NET.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional scrum team accountable for end-to-end product services.
• Write/ review production C# and .NET Core code daily, setting coding standards.
• Design and implement Temporal workflows and event-driven integration.
• Own sprint delivery, planning, refinement, and retrospective without a delivery manager.
• Mentor engineers, manage performance, and guide career development.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to balance trade-offs and feasibility.
