Job summary

Symbiotic Digital in Toronto, ON seeks a Senior Solutions Designer to design hosting and enterprise tech solutions. The role emphasizes backend development, integration design, and leading a technical team across complex environments. 6-month engagement with onsite collaboration and strong Stakeholder interaction.

The candidate will apply REST, JPA/Hibernate, Spring Integration, and ESB/Middleware experience to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years backend design and development with REST, JPA/Hibernate, SQL/PLSQL.
Strong enterprise integration design and patterns knowledge.
Spring Integration experience for building integration solutions.
Experience with ESB/middleware like ACE or MuleSoft.
Knowledge of JMS/AMQP/REST in Azure context and cloud-based integrations.

Responsibilities

Design hosting tech solutions based on specs, standards, policies, and cost models.
Apply networking, mainframe, midrange, storage, and PC tech knowledge.
Gather business requirements and IT mandates; align with strategic plans.
Develop tech solutions; advise on short- and long-term service development.
Plan, migrate, implement, and sustain large complex system projects.
Lead other developers as a Team Lead; collaborate with stakeholders.
Create technical documentation and ensure delivery timelines.
