Job summary

TD is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join the Architecture group in Toronto, Ontario. You will help design scalable, compliant onboarding journeys and customer engagement solutions across digital and advisor-led channels.

Focus is on API-first, event-driven design, and ensuring regulatory and data governance requirements are met while evolving TD's technology stack and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
• 10+ years relevant experience developing a variety of platforms.
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming and/or Test-Driven Development is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience with leading technical tools integration in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated depth and breadth in modern architecture practices, including public cloud, AKS/Kubernetes, microservices, UI frameworks, event-driven and streaming architectures, caching technologies, and relational and NoSQL databases.

• Join a high-impact architecture team shaping the future of customer engagement across onboarding, customer management, and advice.
• Design and deliver scalable, compliant, and customer-centric solutions that power end-to-end onboarding journeys, enable a unified customer view, and support both digital and advisor-led advice experiences.
• Drive headless API-first, event-driven architectures, ensuring seamless integration across systems and channels while meeting regulatory and data governance requirements.
• Lead code reviews to create and test prototypes to assess viability of approaches and guide how components are developed.
