Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a senior Program/Project Manager to shape and lead a portfolio of aerospace initiatives from strategy through execution. You will guide budgets, schedules, governance, and cross-functional teams, while driving digital transformation and AI adoption within a dynamic environment.

The role requires a university degree in engineering or business and 5+ years in aerospace or manufacturing program management, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or business administration is required.
• Experience leading programs or projects in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and governance calendars.
• Experience with digital transformation and AI adoption is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic new product development environment by setting program priorities and providing clear guidance
• Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio
• Oversee Digital Transformation initiatives and guide the adoption of AI technologies
• Identify key Program assumptions, risks and issues and provide the necessary planning and leadership to bring to resolution
• Present project schedules, business cases, and program updates at regular reviews with senior management
• Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required
• Define and maintain a governance calendar and ensure program milestones and objectives are achieved on schedule and within budget
• Develop and implement control mechanisms to capture costs and monitor program performance
• Initiate and lead special studies and projects
• Escalate to the appropriate level of management as needed
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other employees
