Job summary

Checkfront & Regiondo are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the engineering teams responsible for their booking-management products. You’ll drive health, delivery, and growth, balancing new features with reliability and maintainability across two products.

You will partner with Product and senior engineers to set priorities, mentor leaders, and build an environment where engineers can grow, collaborate, and deliver high-quality software at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams at PM or executive level.
• Experience across multiple engineering teams and product areas.
• Strong people-management, coaching, and feedback skills.
• Track record of developing senior engineers or technical leaders.
• Ownership mindset with accountability and low micromanagement.
• Operational reliability, incidents, observability, and learning from failures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Checkfront and Regiondo teams to deliver value.
• Partner with Product to plan priorities, sequencing and delivery across both products.
• Balance new development with reliability, testing, debt reduction, and health.
• Surface risks, dependencies, and capacity early and address them.
• Remain hands-on enough to understand major systems and decisions.
• Guide technical discussions and tradeoffs for pragmatic outcomes.
