Job summary

BlackBerry QNX is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and verification of our Development Tools suite and the QNX Software Center. This role requires strategic technical direction, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

You will oversee tool design, development, and certification with Safety and Security standards, mentoring engineers, and driving innovation while ensuring high quality and reliability of our tooling

Qualifications

• Experience leading embedded software teams in a product-driven environment.
• Strong background in safety and security standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21434).
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing engineering team to design, develop, and verify Development Tools and QNX Software Center.
• Provide strategic technical direction and oversee the full development lifecycle.
• Drive tool innovation, updates, and tool qualification analyses for Safety and Security standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA and other BlackBerry/QNX teams.
