Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three days per week, at minimum.

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer with a passion for quality, efficiency, and reliability to help us accelerate and innovate in this exciting and critical space.Our team believes in extreme ownership where we manage the infrastructure, code, automation, and operations for our applications. As a staff engineer, you’ll be designing, building, and supporting the cloud applications and infrastructure to support the control and data planes for millions of vehicles on a global scale.You will work with the embedded vehicle teams to build the services and client experiences necessary to manage all vehicle data collection.

What you’ll do in this role

· Design and build secure, reliable, and efficient microservices to manage data collection on millions of vehicles

· Create user experiences to enable teams to manage vehicle data collection efforts in the field

· Leverage automation to deliver applications at a high level of quality

· Deploy and operate applications globally in a manner which maximizes application availability

· Participate in on-call rotation to support your team’s applications
