Job summary

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is seeking a Senior Engineer in Renewable Energy Programs to lead the corporate transition for renewable energy infrastructure. You will oversee design, construction, installation, operation, maintenance and renewal of energy systems to support a zero-carbon future across eBus, BESS and solar PV initiatives.

Qualifications

• Senior Engineer role within Renewable Energy Programs.
• Experience leading technical oversight for large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of eBus, battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar PV and related energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for capital projects and operations within REP.
• Identify technical risks and propose effective mitigations.
• Coordinate projects with fleet plans and construction efforts.
• Oversee quality of construction, commissioning and submittals and witness major testing.
• Assist with construction safety plans and ensure safety standards.
• Review and approve technical reports and testing results.
