Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair engines professionally and on time, within the scope of your qualifications and authorizations, both in shop and on-wing/on-site.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform duties accurately.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Detect errors and implement corrections through proper departmental procedures.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• College degree or vocational training
• Bachelor’s degree (desirable)
• At least 3 years of aircraft jet engine mechanic experience
• Fluency in English
• German and French language skills (desirable)
• Knowledge of CFM 56-7B, LEAP-1B engines (desirable)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Attention to detail and quality consciousness
• Productivity, safety, security, professionalism, reliability, responsibility, teamwork, and flexibility
• Willingness to travel, work shifts, and overtime
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Must possess a valid permit to work in Canada
