Pipefitter, Welder, Tower Mechanic II - Edmonton

Koch-Glitsch, an affiliate of Koch Industries, Inc., is a global leader in designing and manufacturing advanced mass transfer and mist elimination products for the chemical, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, pharmaceutical, and specialty industries. We provide high-quality services across Canada, including vessel repairs, revamps, and replacements in gas plants and refineries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in gas plant and refinery environments, including at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Operate cranes and rigging, handle parts and materials.
  • Install trays, packing, grid, feed pipe, distributors, and column internals.
Required Qualifications
  • Safety-first attitude, willingness to learn, minimum one year of oil and gas industry experience.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, ability to read and complete safety paperwork.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and valid safety certifications (OSSA Confined Space, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, CSTS 20).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience installing mass transfer equipment, industrial construction, and pressure vessel maintenance.
  • Valid apprenticeship or journeyman certificate in pipefitting or welding.
  • Experience reading blueprints, working in confined spaces, and with piping systems.
  • Additional safety certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, Basic Safety Orientation).
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, wear PPE, and perform shift work including travel within Canada.
