Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to manage and implement a portfolio-wide Energy Management Plan. You will collaborate with Facility Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and clients to drive energy efficiency and cost savings.

Responsibilities include energy audits, project management of retrofit initiatives, and ROI analysis. Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with PE designation.
• 5+ years in energy management with utility markets, building systems.
• Experience with energy retrofits and M&V per IPMVP.
• Strong communication, organizational and PM skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy audits and develop energy saving measures.
• Manage EMP portfolio and coordinate with facilities, finance, and client.
• Oversee energy retrofit projects from concept to commissioning.
• Develop ROI and cash flow analyses for energy projects.
• Coordinate training and energy awareness initiatives.
• Support energy reporting and data analysis activities.
