Job summary

Teledyne Digital Imaging is seeking a Sr. Electronics Designer to lead complex electrical circuit design for advanced machine vision platforms. You will own board-level architecture decisions, guide PCB stackups, and drive cost, reliability, and testability improvements.

You'll mentor designers, collaborate across firmware, FPGA, mechanical and thermal groups, and support production ramp-ups while maintaining engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in electronics design.
• Advantage: Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electrical circuits for machine vision camera platforms.
• Own board-level architecture decisions including power and SI.
• Define PCB stackups and guide layout strategy for complex designs.
• Drive design optimization for cost, reliability and testability.
• Independently debug, validate and qualify designs through prototyping and production.
• Provide technical leadership across firmware, FPGA, mechanical, thermal teams.
