Job summary

Fidus Systems is seeking a Hardware Designer to architect and deliver high-speed electronic systems. You will collaborate with FPGA, software, and SI/PI teams to shape system and board-level designs, drive detailed schematic capture, and ensure production-ready results across DDR/PCIe and SerDes domains.

You will own design verification, participate in reviews, and mentor junior designers while supporting from concept through bring-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with high-speed circuits, DDR4/PCIe Gen4, SerDes.

Responsibilities

• Develop system and board-level architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Provide schematic design and component selection for high-speed circuits and memory busses.
• Conduct design simulations using LTSpice and prototype bench tests.
• Collaborate with Signal Integrity team for critical nets analysis.
• Lead design reviews to ensure quality standards.
• Create parts libraries and schematic capture with embedded layout constraints.
• Develop test plans and lab bring-up for hardware prototypes.
• Mentor junior/ intermediate designers and support post-project technical work.
• Lead regulatory certification testing and documentation.
