Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager in Toronto to oversee all electrical aspects of a new project, ensuring full project deliverables are met.

This role reports to the Operations Manager and involves daily liaising with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors, and Subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Attend project start-up meetings.
2. Familiarize with project details and specifications.
3. Manage technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and approved.
4. Raise and oversee RFIs.
5. Maintain weekly Progress Reports, managing changes and variations.
6. Liaise with main contractors and on-site teams.
7. Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
8. Ensure materials are available for project completion.
9. Implement construction and commissioning programmes and plans.
10. Generate biweekly/monthly snag lists and improvement plans.
11. Manage K&M handover process and document management system.
12. Conduct meetings with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
13. Participate in site meetings and address action points.
14. Communicate project-specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D).

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
• Qualification in Construction/Project Management preferred.
• Experience supervising teams.
