Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• P.Eng license or equivalent in Ontario is preferred.
• 7+ years of power distribution experience required.
• Substation design experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and test electrical power systems.
• Use CAD to create schematics, diagrams, and layouts for electrical systems.
• Perform power system analysis and modeling with ETAP, PSS/E or SKM.
• Carry out cost-benefit evaluations and feasibility studies for planned initiatives.
• Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and clients to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Examine and accept the specifications, drawings, and calculations contained in the electrical design papers.
