Job summary

Aversan Inc. in Mississauga, ON is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform circuit design, analysis, and test procedure development. You will coordinate hardware development with multiple teams and manage schedules to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong experience in electronic circuit design.
• Experience with electrical/electronics design, analysis, simulation, build, test and support processes.
• Python programming knowledge and/or Model based design knowledge is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform various Electrical Engineering activities including circuit design & analysis, test procedure development and conduct testing, investigate problems and establish corrective actions, manage changes, prepare test reports.
• Overall technical coordination within engineering functions supporting hardware development to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
• Establish and maintain detailed technical plans, estimates and schedules; provide status to project engineering and management.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects/activities with limited and shared resources.
• Hardware team focal for interfacing with other functional groups and the customer.
• Lead technical design reviews with internal & external customers.
• Collaborate with the team in resolving technical problems with both internal and external customers; Investigate failures, identify root causes and permanent corrective action.
