Senior Electronics/Hardware Engineer – Vancouver Onsite ***Complete***

Our client commercializes innovative solutions in the mining industry. The company’s proprietary technology seamlessly integrates with existing mine equipment and offers greater flexibility, accuracy, and efficiency for its target industry. There is a significant sustainability benefit, as these improved processing decisions directly reduce the environmental footprint of mining operations.

We are looking to add an experienced Senior EE to take responsibility for design and development of Electrical and Electronic components and systems.

Responsibilities will include:

• Uses expert level proficiency to lead the development and implementation of testing and verification plans to validate complex electrical assemblies and electronic circuits and ensure compliance with industry standards

• Oversees component selection, schematic capture and PCB layout of digital and analog electronic circuits and power supplies

• Architecting the electrical assemblies and board-level designs and integration of OEM modules into the company products

• Overseeing collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams and senior management and delegating tasks to ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards

Requirements:

• A 4-year degree (PhD or masters preferred) in a relevant electrical discipline. I.e. Electrical, Electronics, Controls Systems or similar.

• At least 6 years of experience in an electrical, electronics or relevant discipline.

• Hands on experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, electronic load, and signal generators.

• Expert level proficiency in circuit board CAD tools such as Altium.

• Expert level proficiency in circuit and control simulation tools.

• Strong communication skills and legally able to work in Canada.
