Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization.
  • 8+ years of experience in power system planning, analysis, and operations.
  • Experience with power system simulation tools (PSS/E, GE MAP, PowerFactory).
  • Strong understanding of grid operations, market mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in developing strategic infrastructure plans and investment cases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term power system expansion plans, considering load growth, new generation, and network upgrades.
  • Perform comprehensive power flow, stability, and contingency analysis using advanced modeling software.
  • Assess the impact of new projects, such as renewable energy sources and transmission lines, on the existing grid.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and internal departments to align planning strategies.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and external parties.
