Qualifications

Our client is seeking a strategic Asset Manager to oversee their diverse portfolio of energy infrastructure assets in Kimberley . This role is responsible for maximizing the value and performance of these assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal. You will develop and implement asset management strategies, manage operational performance, and ensure financial targets are met. This position requires a strong understanding of the energy sector , combined with excellent financial acumen and leadership capabilities, contributing significantly to the company's long‑term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies for power generation facilities, transmission lines, and distribution networks.
  • Monitor asset performance, conduct financial analysis, and forecast future capital expenditure requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance planning, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, finance, and legal departments.
  • Identify opportunities for asset optimization, performance improvement, and value creation.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and operational partners.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in asset management , preferably within the energy sector or infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in financial analysis, strategic planning, and performance management of large-scale assets.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, renewable energy, or conventional generation technologies.
  • Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills for a hybrid work environment.
