Job summary

Egis Canada seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of complex electrical systems across airport, infrastructure and building projects. You will mentor junior engineers, manage schedules and budgets, review technical work, and collaborate with architects and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions in our growing North American practice.

Role requires P.Eng designation, 10+ years’ experience, and strong knowledge of codes and standards;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer designation in good standing with APEGA.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing and managing projects in Canada.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulations (CEC and others).
• Experience in AutoCAD and electrical design software is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong project management.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee electrical systems for infrastructure, airport, or building projects.
• Manage electrical design for varied infrastructure initiatives.
• Oversee design and implementation for new developments.
• Develop and maintain design docs, specs, and reports per industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams for seamless integration.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and codes.
• Lead client and project meetings, contributing insights.
• Develop and refine engineering standards and templates.
