Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering with Eng designation.
• Minimum 10 years designing industrial or mission-critical electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical panels, load analysis, and power distribution.
• Proven experience with BOM release, drawing release, and configuration control.
• Experience navigating global electrical codes and standards (NEC/CEC, UL/CSA/IEC, IEC 61439, IEEE 519).

Responsibilities

• Design the complete electrical architecture of the product, including dual-feed 3-phase input, automatic transfer switch, disconnects, branch protection, and motor breakers.
• Research, select, integrate, and validate electrical systems for production and serviceability.
• Develop redundant control power supplies and precise power metering.
• Drive electrical safety and EMC compliance and support DFMEA/risk assessments.
• Mature designs through prototype phases and release with standard BOMs/drawings.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hydraulic, controls, and embedded software teams in technical reviews.
