Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Vancouver seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (Buildings) to lead the design, development and implementation of building electrical systems. You will supervise engineers, technologists and CAD staff, provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.

The ideal candidate has a BE in Electrical Engineering, P.Eng, 12+ years in consulting, strong leadership and client-facing skills, and is willing to travel. A hybrid work model and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• P.Eng registration with EGBC or eligible to become a member elsewhere.
• PMP designation or CAPM certification considered an asset.
• Minimum 12 years in electrical engineering consulting with progressive responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of building electrical systems.
• Supervise engineers, designers and CAD staff; provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Support business development, proposals and technical bid evaluations.
• Coordinate project resources, progress reporting and client communications.
• Ensure adherence to corporate standards and quality control across projects.
