Job summary

BBA is seeking an experienced electrical designer to join our team in BC. You'll lead and contribute to major electrical engineering projects from design through to on-site commissioning, collaborating with clients, project managers, engineers and drafters to produce deliverables to BBA and client standards.

With 5–10 years of experience, you’ll master Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, prepare single-line diagrams, layouts and schedules, and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma of vocational studies in building or industrial design or a diploma of college studies in mechanical, architectural or electrical engineering.
• From 5 to 10 years of experience as a 2D and 3D electrical designer.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and Navisworks software.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.
• Experience preparing and reviewing design deliverables such as single-line diagrams, layouts, elevations, schematics, wiring diagrams, material lists and schedules.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Project and Excel).
• A valid class 5 BC driver’s licence.
• Ability to travel on short notice to client sites and other offices.
