Job summary

Geotab is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to deliver high-precision Edge AI contributions for Geotab camera systems. You will design, implement, and validate deep learning architectures for real-time edge processing while improving code and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant industry experience across CV/ML problems
• 5+ years of hands-on ML with large-scale datasets and model deployment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related quantitative field
• Advanced proficiency in Python, C++, and major DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and edge deployment libraries
• Strong knowledge of hardware architectures and embedded accelerators and their impact on software performance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with mentoring ability

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate high-precision CV/ML architectures for real-time edge processing
• Improve code structure, training frameworks, and deployment pipelines for maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to release major features
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in interview processes
• Optimize models for ultra-low latency on edge hardware and ensure robust performance
