Job summary

Vivid Machines, an early-stage startup focused on agricultural tech, is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and implement real-time vision systems across embedded, cloud, and mobile platforms. You will own the capture, processing, and deployment pipelines, ensuring robust performance in harsh field environments and offline-first operation.

Qualifications

• Experience building real-time vision pipelines and streaming media.
• Hands-on experience deploying vision models to edge devices.
• Familiarity with cameras, sensors and low-level drivers (I2C/SPI/GPIO).
• Experience with Linux on embedded platforms and containers.

Responsibilities

• Own the capture and inference pipeline from sensor to model to storage.
• Make heavy vision models run in real time on limited hardware.
• Bring up cameras and sensors at the driver level and ensure reproducibility of field tests.
