Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Data Scientist to join our analytics team in Kimberley. You will build predictive models, analyze large datasets, and translate insights into business strategies for online retail growth.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing, deploy ML solutions in production, design experiments, and mentor junior data scientists while ensuring data quality and delivering actionable visuals to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of data science experience with strong e-commerce focus.
• Proficient in Python or R and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong SQL and experience with large-scale databases.
• Experience deploying ML models to production.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements
