Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC seeks a Principal DSP Application Engineer to drive adoption of DSP-enabled AEC and Optical Transceiver solutions for 100G/200G/400G PAM4 in AI and cloud infra. You will partner with hyperscale customers, switch OEMs, module vendors, and system architects to enable high-speed connectivity.

In this highly visible role, you will lead architecture reviews, support deployment, and perform system-level debugging across optical and electrical channels, leveraging IEEE 802.3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with extensive hardware experience.
• Proven experience in semiconductor, networking, or connectivity technologies.
• Hands-on lab skills and ability to analyze measurement results.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design reviews and system bring-up for DSP-enabled AEC and optical transceivers.
• Drive customer engagements from architecture evaluation to production deployment.
• Perform root-cause analysis across DSP, SerDes, PCB, and related subsystems.
