Job summary

Fidus is seeking a Solutions Architect specializing in DSP/Algorithms to translate client requirements into actionable solutions. You will plan, estimate, and present risk mitigations while collaborating across FPGA, DSP, hardware and software teams to deliver high-speed electronic systems.

The role involves cross-functional design across multiple domains and may require travel up to six weeks per year within North America. US export controls may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in Signal Processing or Algorithms Designer roles preferred.
• Experience with system-level design, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and FPGA/DSP mapping.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to understand needs and requirements.
• Architect a solution that meets client needs.
• Estimate work, identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Write technical content for proposals.
• Present resource capabilities and work approach.
• Partition programs into logical segments and oversee project work.
• Identify opportunities for new Fidus products and R&D.
