Corix is expanding its district energy leadership in Quebec, seeking a seasoned Director of Project Development based in Montreal. You will guide strategic engagements with municipalities, ministries, and industry partners to advance multi-year district energy opportunities from early identification through invest decisions.

You will collaborate across projects, regulatory affairs, and finance to shape market strategy, build relationships, and drive successful development while traveling to

Formación

• University degree in business, engineering, public policy, planning or related field.
• Approximately 10+ years in energy, infrastructure, or real estate development with senior experience.
• Direct experience engaging with Quebec municipalities and provincial ministries or utilities.
• Professional English proficiency required for daily collaboration with external teams.
• Experience in district energy, utilities or energy infrastructure is an asset; professional designation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead French-language engagement with municipalities, ministries and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with local consultants, contractors, developers and partners.
• Navigate Quebec energy policy, programs, approvals and stakeholder landscape.
• Advance projects through early-stage feasibility, due diligence, and development planning.
• Coordinate with internal teams on schedules, priorities and deliverables.
• Represent Corix at industry events and build brand credibility in Quebec.
• Travel within Quebec and occasionally to Atlantic Canada and other locations.
