Job description

Join our team as a Senior Director, People Advisory! In this role, you'll lead the HR Business Partner functions, enhance the employee experience, and promote organizational health. You’ll drive HR program effectiveness, develop and manage enterprise-wide initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and use data-driven insights to shape workforce strategy and build team capabilities.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Deliver strategic and operational HR support across all business segments.
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business strategies into actionable people plans, including workforce planning, succession management, and talent development.
  • Oversee complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistent, legally compliant, and values-based resolution practices across all locations.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise-wide HR programs such as performance management, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and offboarding/termination processes.
  • Ensure effective HR policy implementation and operational compliance by aligning processes with employment laws, internal governance, and audit requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate people-related compliance risks in partnership with Legal and business leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and regulatory awareness.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives using diagnostics, OD methodologies, and change management frameworks to support structural and cultural transformation.
  • Utilize workforce analytics and reporting to guide strategic decision-making, support talent forecasting, and influence organizational design.
  • Collaborate across HR functions such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, and L&D to deliver integrated support and cohesive employee experiences.

As the Successful Candidate You Have?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a senior HRBP or HR leadership role.
  • Expertise in employee relations, organizational development, and HR policy implementation.
  • Experience with compliance, risk mitigation, and employment law application.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and workforce analytics.
  • Experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed or rapidly scaling environment is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead HR teams and advise executive stakeholders in complex, multi-site environments.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is preferred.
  • Bilingualism in English/French is an asset.
