Rygiel Supports for Community Living in Hamilton, Ontario, seeks an Assistant Director, Inclusive Supports to provide operational leadership across residential and community-based programs.

You will mentor managers, oversee budgets and staffing, advance continuous improvement, and ensure safe, person-directed services that promote dignity, inclusion, and belonging. This role combines multi-site leadership with a commitment to rights and partnerships with unions.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of progressive operational leadership experience in a multi-site, shift-based, or 24/7 service environment.
• Experience leading large, complex teams with responsibility for performance and financial accountability.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills to interpret data and inform decisions.
• Experience with Ontario's developmental services sector and applicable legislation (QAM).
• Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop managers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor Operational Leads and Day Program Supervisor, building a management team.
• Own service continuity across all homes: coverage, vacancies, staffing deployment and scheduling at cluster level.
• Drive reductions in overtime and agency staffing; establish operational reporting rhythm and report to Director.
• Support the operational budget and resource deployment with Director oversight.
• Facilitate adoption of the new operating model with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in recruitment for supervisory and frontline roles; assist in hiring.
• Ensure health and safety duties are covered at the cluster level per OHSA and organizational policies.
• Operate within a unionized environment and coordinate with People and Culture on bargaining-unit changes.
• Serve as escalation point for operational issues and participate in on-call rotation.
