Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director within the Controllership group to own finance system architecture, data flow, and the AI-enabled automation roadmap. You will bridge complex accounting requirements with technical execution and oversee the evolution of the Workday Cloud ERP ecosystem.

You will lead global R2R initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, and Operations while driving modernization of subledger processes and financial decision-support at scale.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial systems, or finance transformation.
Expertise in ERP systems and accounting data architecture.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic Record to Report (R2R) initiatives across revenue and non-revenue functions.
Serve as the primary sponsor for the finance technology stack, deploying ERP enhancements, automation, and reporting infrastructure.
Redesign end-to-end R2R cycles (close, consolidation, statutory reporting) to drive efficiency.
Guide cross-functional teams through transition periods, breaking down silos between technical and accounting teams.
Act as a central strategic partner to align across Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and Operations with AI-enabled solutions.
