What you will do:

• Build relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the design team.
• Support designers and business stakeholders in prioritizing research activities.
• Develop research approaches (moderated or unmoderated) that address business and design goals.
• Evaluate prototypes and understand user needs through research activities.
• Moderate live sessions with users and RBC staff on complex or sensitive topics.
• Communicate research findings to the team and stakeholders.
• Facilitate ideation and collaborative activities.

What you need to succeed:

Must have:

• BA/BS in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of research experience.
• Technical knowledge of research theories and tools.
• Familiarity with various research methodologies.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• MA/MS or certifications in relevant fields.
• Appreciation for 'design thinking.'
• Experience in large organizations and agile environments.
• Experience launching digital products.
