Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Lead Software Developer (DevOps) to lead automation and cloud platform initiatives for a scalable SaaS service. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and incident response while collaborating with software engineers and IT operations globally.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, observability, and continuous improvement in a fast-growing cloud environment. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or cloud-based enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Solid Linux administration, troubleshooting, and production support experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with excellent communication skill in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps and automation initiatives across development and operations teams.
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Improve performance, security, observability, and operational excellence across the SaaS platform.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
