Job summary

Carnegie Learning, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer, DevOps to advance our CI/CD and software delivery engineering. You will own Jenkins pipelines, Groovy shared libraries, and AWS infrastructure to speed, secure, and standardize deployments across teams.

This hands-on role requires collaborating with Software Engineering, QA, SRE, security, and product teams. Location is flexible within Canada, with an office in St. John’s, NL and remote options available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps/CI/CD or similar roles.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Hands-on in building and improving CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve Jenkins pipelines and Groovy libraries.
• Assess and optimize build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
• Create reusable pipeline components and standardized delivery patterns.
• Develop and apply software engineering practices for CI/CD tooling.
• Improve build performance and deployment reliability.
• Lead modernization of CI/CD practices and tooling.
