Job summary

Sherweb is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to improve IT solution delivery by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated, secure platforms. The role emphasizes collaboration with security, architecture, and operations teams to deliver scalable infrastructure and pipelines.

You will drive CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC/CaC initiatives, while leveraging AI to automate recurring tasks and accelerate delivery in a primarily remote/hybrid Quebec setting.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software development and systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps culture, practices, and tools.
• Proficiency with Azure-native, containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent French and English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, reliable, automated solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Improve development processes and implement identified improvements.
• Promote observability across systems and pipelines.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD and GitOps pipelines and IaC/CaC.
• Develop IaC and CaC for automated environment management.
• Support shared services (containers, databases, messaging, cloud).
• Build self-service capabilities and reusable templates for faster delivery.
• Leverage AI to create automations and reusable skills.
