Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong AWS experience, IaC proficiency (Terraform preferred), and hands‑on Kubernetes/ECS expertise. SOC 2 readiness and modern observability tooling are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure/GCP a plus).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows end-to-end.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation or Ansible also welcome).
• Strong software development skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or similar).
• Security best practices, IAM, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience supporting security/compliance programs (SOC 2 or similar).
• Proficiency with monitoring/observability tools (ELK, Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and agile startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own CI/CD pipelines across multiple services to streamline software development and deployment.
• Maintain, optimize, and architect cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) for scalability, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management using IaC with modular, reusable patterns.
• Monitor and improve system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability across environments.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance deployment strategies and build internal tooling.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure, networking, identity, and access.
• Own or support SOC 2 compliance requirements, documentation, and evidence collection.
• Manage and enhance containerization/orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
• Optimize logging/monitoring/alerting (ELK, Datadog, Prometheus) for faster incident response.
• Build observability tooling, including metrics/logging/tracing (OpenTelemetry strong plus).
• Optimize cloud resource usage and cost-efficient practices.
• Stay current with DevOps best practices and industry standards.
