Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead design, automation, security, and operation of cloud-native platforms in Toronto, Ontario. The role emphasizes building scalable AWS-based infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

You will implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, enforce security and compliance, and collaborate across Development, Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams to drive cloud transformation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub/GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting, Python is a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, PKI, TLS, and encryption technologies.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security best practices, and compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.

Responsibilities
