We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS - Python/Bash) to lead the transformation to DevOps and Continuous Delivery across the organization. You will work with multiple development projects and collaborate with other DevOps engineers.

In addition to this, you will:

• Support both development and production environments
• Implement monitoring processes and design/deploy monitoring dashboards
• Coach and mentor team members
• Work directly with development teams to bring new products into the cloud
• Design and support internal development environments inside AWS
• Design, implement, and maintain all Amazon Web Services infrastructure and operational services
• Participate in agile processes across multiple development teams
• Create processes for continuous deployment, including full orchestration of deployment processes
• Develop tools and scripts to improve operational efficiency
• Establish best practices for DevOps, builds, CI/CD, and infrastructure
• Build and support system automation, deployment, and CI tools
• Communicate project status, metrics, and issues effectively

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• 3-5 years working with AWS cloud services
• 3-5 years working in Linux environments
• 3-5 years scripting in Bash or Python
• 3-5 years using SCM tools like Git and GitHub
• 3-5 years experience with SDLC processes

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and deployment models
• Proficiency with AWS services and CLI
• Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab
• Knowledge of cloud security and best practices
• Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark)
• Database administration experience (Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL)
• Performance tuning and benchmarking skills
• Knowledge of build tools (Maven, Gradle, Node, NPM)
